TYPES OF ACTIVITIES

Art provocations and trainings are conducted in two formats:

  1. Independent thematic modules and activities (5-8 hours)
  2. Art school for managers

Continuing education for managers covers management philosophy, art activities, art history, and art provocations.

Clients may request programs that last for three, six, or nine months.

Programs are conducted at your company’s office or at Dyad’s art space. Seminars may also be held at an off-site location.

Provocation and the Avantgarde

The goal of any manager’s art provocation is to shake up, wake up, and summon an ancient creative reaction. Avantgarde art is always directed at viewers, passing a large philosophical and intellectual burden to them. Viewers are offered the opportunity to play a “brain game” or to “solve a puzzle.” The avantgarde strives to upend aesthetic and ethical expectations, helping to upend old boundaries while also creating new ones.

This art activity teaches participants to:

  • imagine
  • express emotions
  • feel lines of communication
  • accept other opinions and points of view
  • trust another person
  • seek new meanings
  • listen to their intuition
  • learn to think metaphorically
  • develop symbolic vision
  • ask open-ended profound questions
  • feel surprised
  • recognize their failures and see blunders
  • overcome the fear of looking like a fool, and see the coexistence of opposite thoughts
